Some say that the only time you really appreciate something is when you’re able to look back at it in hindsight. But, as we’ve learned through many hard knocks and the ups and downs that come with this chosen career, things are best appreciated in the here and now… because later on, they’ll just be memories. Sure, you might have gone through some hard times and then look back at them now and smile – maybe even laugh. But how much more of a triumph would it be if you did that while you were going through it? Or, say, you had a great experience, and then you keep looking back to it, thinking: “I wonder if anything will ever be as great as that?”
Answer: Stop comparing. Every experience, good or bad, is a learning curve. If you learn well, both will make you a stronger person than you were before. Stronger to face the new experiences, and, hopefully, more compassionate, empathetic, and understanding – as well as a little more determined, and adventurous!
So, instead of looking back at what a great year 2014 was for us – and it was (hardships and successes included) – we can happily and contentedly say that we’re looking ever forward to the New Year 2015. And we’d like to thank all of our friends, family, and fans that continue to join us on this journey. You encourage us, you inspire us, you are why we still get out there and do our thing!

Yesterday, we just got off from our very first television interview, and we had a BLAST! Sure, it’s similar to being interviewed on the radio, and it’s strikingly similar to performing live on television. But put those two factors together, and add to it the fact that this is our first on-screen performance/interview with our bassist, then, for us, it’s a big deal! We got to meet the lovely & lively Jannelle So, and had one of those “I watch you on television!” moments; and the overall experience was a pleasurable one.

When we got an email from Mr. Michael Aushenker asking us to do an interview for “The Argonaut News”, we were more than happy to oblige! The meeting went well, as we all enjoyed talking about our love of music. But the best part for us was when Mr. Aushenker put forth the idea of bringing our Dad, and manager – and producer, and roadie, and… well you get the picture – into the interview to join us. Though it may not seem like such a big deal to most, it was for us, because, even though he’s in the same room whenever we’re doing interviews (whether via radio station or TV), he’s usually in the background, where he’s more than content to be – and actually quite prefers. But after our initial interview, we were ecstatic at his surprise at the request to join the conversation. We’re grateful to Mr. Aushenker for including the one person who’s been there with and for us with his “all-in” support from the beginning – and who finally got a chance to have his words on record… even though it’s still about us! Starting this month, we’re going to be preparing, and prepping for a new album! It’s been a few years since our last album release (“Normalcy”, 2010), and we’ve had many requests to record a new one that features some of the other songs that we perform at our live shows.
